Emma Turner
Kia ora, I am a ceramic artist, working from my garden studio in Christchurch, New Zealand. My studio practice is colourful and full of story telling. Inspiration is found everywhere, everyday, in the little stories we associate with everyday objects and our urban and natural environments.
I started pottery at a night class in 2015 and haven't looked back. I graduated with a Diploma in Art and Design from the Dunedin Art School in 2020 with a focus on ceramics, have since established a busy studio practice and featured in several exhibitions and galleries nationwide. I am currently focused on supplying functional wares for wholesale and teaching in the community.
Keep is an ever changing project for me to selfishly persue new creative ideas. It is currently online only, offering limited edition batch ceramics.
