about/ me/ ET
Kia ora, I am a ceramic artist, working from my garden studio in Christchurch, New Zealand. My practice involves minamalist forms with colourful decoration; sometimes five year old scribbles and other times more gestural, abstract mark making. I'm inspired by everyday objects, environments and the the little stories we associate with our surroundings.
I graduated with a Diploma in Art and Design from the Dunedin Art School in 2020 with a focus on ceramics and have since established a busy studio practice and featured in several exhibitions and galleries nationwide. I am currently focused on supplying functional wares for wholesale and teaching in the community.I am really optimistic about how much I can do so my online shop offering is sparse and irregular, with odd bits and pieces that I'm trialling out. My wonderful stockists are the best way to find my usual range of wares.
